Off of the new record, Vincent Neil Emerson plays "The Ballad of the Choctaw-Apache" from his self-titled album.
We got to meet VNE this summer in Nashville for a La Honda Records showcase. It was wonderful to finally meet the maestro of "Sad Boy" songs. The new record is amazinginging and you too can hear this masterpiece where music is streamed.
Among other things, it's a crying shame to see such little representation from indigenous in the country music world. We hope this song can pave the way to more Native songwriters to come and be apart of our channel.
It's been a privilege getting to know VNE and we're happy to debut this video.
