Maybe you can answer my question.. I used my friends after cleansing ... there was no going back or forwards.. the whole thing was shaking , very fast, and at one point the bottom of it pulled quite dramatically to the left of me.. I have had many spiritual incidents over the years and wondered if it had anything to do with this

The pendulum is just an indicator of the dowsing reaction in your body, there is no magic in the pendulum itself. You have to be very focused on what you are asking for, and learn how to interpret the different reactions.

Hi Heather, Links are in the video for Letter to Robin and TrewBelever charts. The one with the coloured strip is free from me with purchase of a book, or you could buy a 'Gardner Rosette' from me, which has 2 different charts plus colours - see westerngeomancy.org/shop.. But lots of dowsing books will have charts in them. Or Google - there are lots available online. Or make your own!

@@DSmith-ix1xf With experienced dowsers the movements tend to become larger anyway. Once you recognise your dowsing response you become more relaxed about trying to keep your hand still.

Yes, you start the pendulum swinging back and forth over the centre '0' line.

Here’s an experiment for if this works. Use it to guess the next number generated by an online random number generator. Do it numerous times accurate, and see how far a downswing pendulum can provide answers.

I agree, the Isis is one of my favourite pendulums. Sadly, I lost this one on a job recently and haven't managed to replace it yet.

The large wooden one I use at the start was hand-turned by a friend; the brass one I use later is a 4-disc Isis pendulum, which is readily available.
