This is the summer 2024 open day at Nottingham based Westfield Light Railway, with members of the East Midlands Area Group running trains.
The Westfield LR is a "baseboard on posts" constructed 32mm gauge garden railway and has been almost completely relaid on a commercial recycled plastic baseboard since we last visited. Features include the local village cricket match taking place next to the church and the local model engineering society line.
The buildings stay out most of the year, except when they are being exhibited on the Brunel stand at the likes of the National Garden Railway Show.
