Great piece of nostalgia. Only worked at Westfield Mill for a few years 1976-1979, but has left an indelible impression on me ever since. Hope everyone is still doing well. best regards Gordon

My Grandfather worked and died in the mill. My father was 14 years in the mill. My Uncle Frank and my Uncle Dave worked the mill and my cousin worked the mill. I myself did a short stint on the reeler back in the early 70's. fantastic atmosphere. It just felt like one big family

This brought back memories of working for Inveresk plc between 1991 and 2001. Although I worked at their HQ and not at Westfield, I knew Peter Mac well and I shared an office with Ben Murphy for a few years. Following being made redundant I spent the next eleven years with the Scottish government, and retired in February 2013. Enjoying my retirement playing golf and guitar and my grandchildren. I hope all are well and enjoying life.
