Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa, Gatlinburg, United States

This mountainside resort is 2.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It's 3.2 miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and 5.6 miles from Pigeon Forge's country music sights. The modern log villas with relaxed interiors come as studios or 1- to 5-bedroom units. All have TVs and WiFi, plus kitchenettes or kitchens. Some add fireplaces and balconies. Dining options include a grill restaurant, a cocktail lounge and 2 snack bars. There's an adjacent water park (fee) as well as 2 outdoor pools and 2 hot tubs, plus a gym and a day spa. Other amenities include a game room and a children's playground.

My family stayed there for a week back in 2011. It was my favorite resort. We stayed in one of the 4 story lodge buildings at the top of the mountain. It burnt down unfortunately. I will go there once its rebuilt.

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort and Spa Still open with 300 + units available and will be completely restored bigger and better within 18 - months. Rebuilding began less than 2 weeks after the devastating wild fires of November 28th 2016 and has hire construction contractors from 7 states. I know I work there every day.
