No offense to gallagher or wharton but Ward Prowse deserved his spot in the euros. He’s been fantastic in the premier league for many years. He is england through and thought!

His set piece delivery is the best in the world imo! It's not just the quality of them, it's also the consistency too! Every single one of them is on the money and causes our opposition's defence problems even if we don't get a goal from it (which more often than not we DO). It's always handy to have someone like that in your side because set pieces can be so important in any football game so if you don't have anyone in your team good at taking them then you are automatically at a disadvantage before you've even kicked a ball so yeah imo we're lucky to have him because something will ALWAYS happen from his deliveries. This video might as well have been called "Every West Ham corner 2023/24" because the amount of assists this guy gets from corners is actually incredible!

More money wasted by Moyes. I was never a fan of JWP even when he was at Southampton. He is getting paid ridiculous money just for the odd good set-piece delivery once in a blue moon. Definitely sell & bring in someone like Fofana or Khéphren Thuram.

Bro 90% of his deliveries are basically perfect, just most of them won’t be assists because people won’t always convert them. How can you watch the games and say “the odd good delivery”

@@tychatel478 If 90% of his deliveries were perfect then he would be getting a lot of assists but fact of the matter is that last season he only managed 7 assists in 37 games. That's bloody awful especially for a so called 'attacking midfielder.' Most attacking midfielders can run past players but Ward-Prowse struggles to even do that. Like I stated he was a waste of money for £30m. We could've got someone like Fofana from Monaco who is a lot cheaper & who offers so much more going forward. Anyway I doubt JWP will be here much longer as he definitely doesn't fit in with Lopetegui's tactics.

@@ultra5057 He's a decent 8 who's sset pieces (and often open play) deliveries are as good as they realistically could be, you realize it's still difficult for players score off of great deliveries in real games. He's never has been a dynamic attacking midfielder and shouldn't be expected to do that, his build up play and technical ability are an asset if used correctly.
