ReconPro , to get them youll have to camp or chase for damaged vehicles instead of playing the game. And propably having a support guy dedicated only to chase you and give you ammo... Yeah, about PTFO. I can picture 20 medics in a match just waiting for and shooting at vehicles in the spawn point instead of getting the objective done... With no syringes and still getting mad at you for playing the objective and not giving them ammo...

Equip AT grenades and I believe you get 4 HE rifle grenades. It's not hard, it's just the number of vehicle kills is. Should realistically be like 5.

By the way, I know it may sound kinda crazy, but hear me out. The way they are easing awesome updates and content into the game kinda keeps me looking forward to something. Seems like I'd be more burnt out if everything was absolutely perfect from the beginning with only maps and weapons added in the future. I know it's important for developers to have a complete game from the beginning, but I feel like BF1 was pretty solid on release. Yeah, it lacked a lot of cool features (like platoons) that would have been nice from the getgo, but they weren't game breaking things. Just some thoughts. :)

hi Westie, I totally agree with you! Some assignments are strange and shouldn’t be an assignment. Same for the new gun in the Russian DLC, that you need to destroy 2 planes with the madsen trench. I never destroyed a plain before with my lmg in bf1. I already agreed with friends that they are going to be a pilot on the opposite team so I can destroy them in no man’s land( for example on Sinai desert) to get this assignment. Same for the rifle grenade assignment , Ialready had a hard time killing 25 people with it for the selbstlader 1906 sniper.

Only noobs would. I've been playing Battlefield for a while and there is expectancies for a Battlefield. Having basic things like platoons, clans, specializations is one of them. All of those things as well don't make a game 100% the same, so that's a weak argument. I've heard people say it's because if they released all those at launch, it may have been more buggy, which is a more legitimate argument.

After seeing the parebellums weapon assignment it got me thinking of ways I can shoot down some of my friends planes in match were he switches teams and jumps on a plane, then I thought about the new game mode supply drop. In order for supply drop to get here it needs a plane, so maybe as a team we need to shoot down this plane with our Madsen mg trench along with our team mates. Sorry bad English and sentence structure. Westie this is a theory for the supply drop game mode

Now it'll give me some form of cover when I try to revive someone. I do have questions on implementation, but we'll just have to see.

I reckon it would be cool if they added a single player target range that allows you to use any weapon shooting at a variety of targets at different ranges. Just so you can get used to weapons sights etc and train yourself to the sight pictures at differing ranges.

Erm, I've got an idea. You know how every time you level up, you receive new ranks. How about if you complete assignments, you get a new rank? And maybe special customisations. And leveling up specific classes gives you a new specialisation. And level up in general gives you something else... I'm sure about that. I think this will be an improvement in opinion. Not that this isn't. But I feel this would better.

I think having some specialisations as rewards for completing the difficult assignments will feel much more worthwhile than unlocking a skin. You want to feel like your progress has purpose and that it was a worthwhile time investment. Just getting a skin for a weapon, a weapon which you may never use may I add, would feel lackluster.

The Getting Started Challenges only give you XP for Specific class after completing it, a lot of people, including myself are level 50 on all classes.

Russian guns and the map Brusilov Keep are on consoles CTE right now. I'm in a lobby playing. There's a glitch with going prone with the mg15 and some reload animation glitches that I assume will be patched soon. The experience isn't great because of the glitches but still a fun time.

The HE challenge should be replaced with 500 revives or something a little difficult since its a veteran challenge. That's my honest opinion that would help BF1 players focus on being a team player and actually being a medic.

I really liked the progression system in Battlefield 4, where you had to play with class specific weapons to get new and different weapons, whereas in BF1 you just play the game with any class and unlock what ever you feel like having. It doesn't feel like you worked hard in the game for anything... The war bond system was bad and the system should be more like BF4 where you had to complete assignments and XP milestones to get new stuff. Im still playing BF4 and haven't unlocked everything. In BF1 I unlocked everything at a low rank

Dice has their priorities out of order. No one is quitting this game for a lack of a pick 3 perk system. I haven't heard anyone complain on Reddit that it wasn't carried over from BF4. I would trade all of this for a functional RSP, classic conquest ticket system, all map servers, or BF4 spawn system.

I agree with a lot of what you say westie and your videos are great but i just want to go on a rant for a sec. I know the developers r working on the next title and all but what really pisses me off is they had a perfectly fine game with bf4 but went and changed stuff around for bf1 and idk how well that worked.. but i really enjoy ww1 and i was extremely excited for this game because no one ever makes a ww1 game anymore and for a big first person frnachise to do something like that is great but im just overal dissapointed that the one shot at making a cool ww1 game finally ended up not being all that i expected. Now dont get me wrong i love the game and all and i cant wait for the next title but the next title will most likely be a different era so its like there goes the ww1 theme and now it was used as the "guinea pig". I actually don't really like the Specializations that much, and am glad that they weren't in the game at launch. I feel like this game is really immersive, and these Specializations take away from that experience, which is fairly unique. I agree that from a progression standpoint it would have been better to have it from the beginning, but I think Battlefield as a franchise is better off in the more realistic/simulator setting, than the e-sport setting. There are plenty of e-sport games out there, Battlefield doesn't need to try and copy them, just add there own flavor instead.

I'd rather they get rid of the recharge as it just artificially hampers the medics that actually do their job, and have it not waste a shot if you totally miss any players as having to wait for a recharge because it hit a piece of scenery that's next to a dead friendly is so damn annoying.

DIce, making assignments take longer does not fix the problem of the game getting boring really quick due to a lack of content. In fact it just makes things get even more boring and annoying, it'll be awhile before I get 50 gas grenade kills as a medic or the 25 HE vehicle kills.

Westie I have something to say about the mg14. When I try to deploy my bipod it is not like the other bipod and it is very bad since when I go prone it automatically deploys it and it looks very weird. I can't explain in details but I'm pretty sure it's a glitch or bug. Also the recoil on the gun is way too much and when I shoot my gun goes all over the place. I hope it gets fixed soon.

That stupid medic assignment about granade luncher. I tried to use it instead of syringe but when I feel bad for my team that I am not helping them. When I am using it instead of medic bag it feels like it is not a complete class. So dice please do more medic related assignments for example 1000 revives!
