Westinghouse Elevators at Historic One Central Plaza Chattanooga TN

(October 2023) I believe this to be a slap on mod. Also the basement is locked however if you don't push any buttons, the elevator goes down and parks there where once parked you can open the door. Serious security flaw if the floor is indeed private

Very good elevators the main thing is they are still around. That’s the best news even when things get modded that means it still needs to be operable otherwise it will break. Better to keep old things and fix them to make it better

Me too glass of elevators are better and safer because you can see everything and you will know if you get stuck. Any elevator enthusiast always and always has to be safe.

I believe it’s a basic modernization where only the components that make the elevator ADA compliant are replaced.
