Yes This is why I moved to Austin in 1980. I lived in a home that faced Lake Travis and a golf course. I Built homes for a living and was fortunate to be able to live in a neighbourhood like Westlake Hills. It wasn't all glamour fun and games I worked long hours seven days a week to afford my lifestyle. No regrets.

I grew up and lived in austin as my “home base” as a young man(I’m still young) and it’s the houses like this out in west lake or on 360 that I would drive past and use as motivation to make money and be successful. Love this!

I live in Austin. Sure, there's beautiful homes in Westlake, and this place has great landscaping, and the music is a bit over the top, maybe. But I'm a photographer and no one has mentioned the production values of this video, it's top shelf! I so want a drone! I'm wondering if all the shots are from a drone because I don't know how the interior pans are done otherwise. After 30 years, this is photography I aspire too, quite jealous. Nicely edited as well.

I live in Austin. I've worked in Westlake for five years. The people are very nice. They have a great school district. Westlake reminded me of my home town in some ways. The families are conservative and they teach their kids good morals, good behavior, and respect. My MD lived in the area. Whenever I ended up in the ER from an illness, a few days later he would show up at my job. I guess to check on me. I love Westlake. I even went to some of the football games. I can also say that I have met a lot of famous people who were passing through or visiting friends. Its a great place to raise kids....The only hold back is..$$$$$$$$ If I ever win the lottery( famous last words) I would move to this neighborhood. Btw, and no...the people are not snobs.

This is why everything's bigger in Texas. Four million in Palm Beach, LA, or Aspen gets you maybe a cute little place or apartment, same in NY. This house outside of TX in any other major area would go for five times that.
