Goodmorning Matt, quick update on the west lake shelter. I’ve used it in horrendous wind and rain and have found by using my two Nash Titan hide storm poles with the round fitments on the front it’s amazingly ridged and keeps out all weathers . Can see it being a main stay for ages to come 👍. Thank you again for informative and non biased videos and all the time you take to entertain us all . Kinder regards Alan

Hi Alan Thank you for your great comment its good to see many positives coming from this shelter and maybe a few tweaks to make it better, some folk are just too quick to bad press something that in actual fact works just fine, im glad i got mine, regards Matt

Very informative video Maff . I’ve just had a total hip replacement which has gone fantastically well. Was so tempted in the ease and speed I had one delivered this morning and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. As you so rightly said with a modicum of common sense on when and where to use it with the quality it will last for years . Horses for courses as they say . I’ve just popped it up and with your kind assistance popped it away with no bother literally in minutes . Great addition to my armoury especially initially when I return to the bank 👍Take care and stay safe . 👍👍

Great video 👍👍 I bought one 2 weeks ago for day fishing. Its 100% waterproof and when pegged out correctly its strong and fine in bad weather. As for putting it down, it took 30 mins initially. However, once I found an old video on youtube it was fine. Once it been opened and closed a number of times it folds away fine. Handy to keep in car if the weather changes whilst fishing 👍👍👍👍

@MaffTUK hi, there must be a fault with the mechanism. Just put mine up in the garden and it will not collapse. Tried for 2 hrs now, I think the springs in the mechanism are faulty 😡😡😡. Worked fine before.

Hi Andy firstly thank you 😁. I did check out various other shelters at the time but the Fishing Republic website (which is basically "Go Outdoors") had a huge discount offer which made it just over £50. so I went with that. Its hard to compare with others as i haven't used or seen the them in the flesh so to speak, but i can say i am happy with this shelter and i have no real issues with it. kind regards Matt
