Amazing, I've never seen so many unused socket in one place!

YES! I noticed the same thing you did! 😀 Absolutely no dirt or grease inside the sockets (Never Used) 😆 😃 😀 3:35 The 15mm short with a little rust inside is the only one that shows signs of use. 1:29 Where the factory applied protective oil leaked off the new impact socket. 😀 That, or this dude has some serious OCD and meticulously cleans them after every use! 😲 Maybe he doesn't use these to earn a living. ???? Good video though...

I have two drawers full of sockets on these Westling trays. Best socket organizers I have ever used.
@jerrygallina97324 жыл бұрын
Westling are the best socket organizers. PERIOD! I wish they had the 3 row available when I bought my first set. Now I get to buy some of them again. Worth every penny!

These are nice 👍 they’re aluminum and blank. I prefer blank trays because you have the ability to put whichever socket size you prefer rather than the marked ones no confusion

Love mine had to take my tool box to another shop to do some work had my whole box in the bed of the truck had to go over several railroad tracks along with hitting pot holes and my 3/4 ton pickup doesn't ride the smoothest all my sockets stayed in place I was expecting to have a mess when I got to the job

I like those.. it’s very hard to find good ones.. and the magnetic ones are good at first. Until they start collecting metal shards of tiny pieces of metal

Those are really nice trays. I organized my sockets a few years ago with the Ernst organizer trays. No regrets. I like the flexibility and the price. No issues with durability.

I’ve had a couple of the pins fall out on me. All I did was take a hammer and pound them back into place. Fixed that issue.

Great review, it would be a + if the studs were magnetic, or maybe one can magnetize them.
@williamcattr2674 жыл бұрын
Yes, if the trays had been made magnetic, I would buy them. Otherwise, I will take my chances with the old metal socket holders, where it is hit or miss with the sockets staying on if the holder tips on it's side. The first socket tray that you showed (the red plastic one with the broken peg) is ok if you stand your sockets up, however, it is quite useless for storing and organizing sockets in a tool box that has drawers.

I bought all kinds of different organizers. I got the same sunex set for my tool cart and could not find any to fit. Big help.. Just ordered. I wasted so much money on the other organizers.

They're nice, I just wish that they offered a version that keeps the sockets in place for mechanics that travel.
@bigbobdasloth3 жыл бұрын
Really simple way we tackled that with out mobile guy was to use either a large rubber band or epoxy a bar magnet to the bottom.

@@bigbobdasloth Thanks. it would be cool if the company contracted for custom rare earth magnets plates to attach to the entire bottom area of the organizers.
@naamangeist78433 жыл бұрын
I wonder if the large magnet in this video would do the job, attached to the bottom of these. But, even if it did, that would double the cost, seeing the magnet is $13 on Amazon. I'm thinking these pegs are made out of aluminum though, so the magnetic force wouldn't carry through the pegs like they would if they were steel.

Is it magnetic,where it meets the socket?

Found out when I went to set them up the smaller 3/8 sunex sockets like 7-11 are too wide to fit on a regular plastic tray.
@christinefrancis38973 жыл бұрын
Can you please tell me what type of sockets you have on your trays as i have bought sets and they do not fill these. Some are missing key sockets and i cannot find them under the sets i have
@guystuffgarage14653 жыл бұрын
Hi Christine. The 3/8 1/4 impact are Sunex. The 1/2 deep impact areGear Wrench. The swivel metrics are Sunex, the swivel standard are Mastercraft. The 1/2 chrome shallow and I think the 3/8 chrome metric deep are Williams and the rest are Snap On. I think I got mostly right. All the best

That's the problem with people, they are not picky enough these days, where companies are then playing this and producing poor quality as a standard. Start dismissing shitty products to send these companies the message that what they are doing isn't good enough.
