Thank you!!! I’ve watched so many reviews on this and every other reviewer put a dab on their face after clearing saying that they’re using it as their sunscreen and I’m screaming at the screen, “THAT’S NOT ENOUGH SUNSCREEN!!!!!” Thank you for showing us what the proper amount looks like!!! 🙏

You're so welcome! Thank you for knowing the right amount!! I think this one is best wearing over sunscreen as a booster. A little less sunscreen to compensate if you want OR as a refresh.

It looks absolutely beautiful on your skin (so I’m still leaning towards trying it myself) but I would definitely use it over my regular sunscreen for a light foundation/tint day or like you suggested to refresh…I love the refresh idea for this! I always have a hard time finding products for that and I hate to go without SPF on for any amount of time!

They are so different. Both the colors and the formula. I find the LE to be more comfortable - but there's more variety in the WA - and for travel a better option than carrying a handful of lipsticks. The undertones are different as well.

Is your measurement of the tower 28 sunscreen correct? I thought since it’s a thinner consistency you would use less. These thinner sunscreens are new and the dose that you are using that’s recommended for the older thicker ones seems appropriate. I would consult a dermatologist before using most of the tower 28 bottle, lol!

Yes, it's correct. The viscosity doesn't matter. It's about the % - which is a measurement as a whole.

Just wanted to give some more info on this, since I think it’s a common misconception! SPF rating is determined through regulated testing that requires 2mg of the product applied per square centimeter of skin (in the US at least). Because this amount is used to determine the spf rating, using less means that a user almost certainly has less protection than the spf rating would indicate: ex. only having the equivalent of 25 spf even though a product has a 40spf rating. You don’t have 0 protection if you don’t use enough product to replicate the testing concentration, but you very likely have less. This is just speculation, but formulation differences might impact how much this spf factor is reduced by when using less product. As you noted, viscosity and consistency might have something to do with spreadability and the product’s film-forming ability, which can allow for more even coverage even if it is a lower spf, which might be more than sufficient for some people based on their personal preferences, lifestyle, geographical location, etc.

Thanks, Melinda! I was looking to accomplish three things - collagen stimulation (that will take months to see), redness reduction and brown spots, sun damage reduction. Redness and brown are improved - but I've read that it will take a 4 weeks to see the full results.

I just got the WA gift set in the mail today. I started with the light shade and then patted the one at the bottom (port?) over the top of it. Love it!! I usually like a nude lip so I’ll probably do that with all the colors for daily wear.

You may want to check the tinted sunscreen box. Many of them tell you NOT to put them on or near the eyes. I know my sunscreen does.It would really bother my eyes if it got in them.

Your skin is looking great after the laser treatment! The Tower 28 Sunny Days is a nice colour on you - not sure if it's available in the UK but would def be interested in that. And the W. A makes me miss a heartbeat in terms of box, packaging and product. The highlighter looks very subtle and everything you put on to accompany lips and highlight worked really nicely. Lovely to see your fun, cheeky side - it shows how make up is just make up - if it goes wrong you just change things a bit to accommodate - it is only make up after all :)

Thank you for the demos and review. I would love the tower 28 tinted sunscreen but it’s not yet available in Canada (DIN numbers are required for products mentioning spf and many brands decide it’s not worth the expense). I bought the WA set the moment it appeared on sephora and I am quite happy with it. The highlighter is very natural - so will only be impactful on matte skin (as you alluded to). I will probably be using it all winter. I will be combining the new lip suede with the Les Nudes lip compact (I cannot call that one a suede because the shades are balms rather than suedes). Enough rambling. Your skin is beautiful, as always - I am sure you can see a difference but on-screen it’s subtle. I look forward to your follow-ups on the BBL and Halo. Thanks again!

The whole SPF is heartbreaking. It's amazing both Canada and the US are so persnickety about it! As for my skin - take a look at my community page. I did a side by side and there's such a different on my right side where I had the most sun damage. It's not perfect - but much improved!

I like the Tower 28, too! AND, if I feel it's too light, I can always add a pump of the DMTGLY sunscreen, which is too dark. I'm wearing it again today - but not on the lids - they stung pretty bad when I did my skincare this morning.

Well I have to say….it’s just to shiny and wet looking….some products that are like this are not the most flattering on us….just FYI….hydrating products or being hydrated….really have to walk a fine line with not accentuating texture….we are actually better off with a natural skin finish product…..and a touch of a finely milled powder…can work beautifully to tone down the high shine…anyway just some info
