Weston beach race 2023 Wheelies,Chaos and fun

First ride back at the infamous beach race,52 years old and feeling it after a slog in the sand.
Finished 185 out of 738 starters.The relentless course claimed a lot of victims ☠️but the old 2011 Ktm 400 made it to the end👌

It's a no from me. I get the sense of achievement, and the kudos of the event, but sod that. 160 miles round Wales looks a lot more fun to me 😂

If you look again you’ll notice the marshal behind,protecting me and warning riders, also they had plenty of room on that dune to go past.You will also notice as soon as I got the bike upright my thumb was on the start button,she wouldn’t start in gear so then you’ll notice I rocked it back and forth to get into neutral,she then fired up and I rode away.From falling to riding away was 45 seconds.The alternative would be dragging my bike across to the side potentially in the path of other bikes,which would have taken longer and be more dangerous.Maybe I could have knocked 10 seconds off if I didn’t knock my clutch and break levers straight again.
