Gunn's level of artistry is unparalleled. It's deeper than hip hop and i can feel it.
@Stoney-Jacksman3 жыл бұрын
Empty statement. Hip Hop is an extremely broad term nowadays. Its essence is this..beats, rhymes..life. No need to try and sound profound without actually even saying something. Americans too good in exgaerating..one above the other until all words are raped out of their definition. Peace.
@gabrielmucavele65983 жыл бұрын
@@Stoney-Jacksman Art is something you feel. It is subjective.it's like a painting. Some might think it's rubbish and other might see as a masterpiece. I grew up listening to a wide range of artists such as Kool G rap, Nas, Mobb Deep, ATCQ, Def Squad, BCC, Wu, Snoop and em- just to name a few. So i learned to appreciate rap diversity and I can feel the depth of Gunn's work. It's unfair to belittle my statement.

@@gabrielmucavele6598 my reply was toward the statement ' its deeper than hiphop'.
@vimbeezles2 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielmucavele6598 I don't think the person was belittling your statement. In an era when it's common to say, "I'm not just a rapper, I'm an artist" or etc, statements that try to draw a clear distinction between hip-hop and art tend to imply hip-hop either is not art or is a lesser form of it. Peace!
@haroonehsan1422 Жыл бұрын
@@vimbeezles never thought about it like that, great insight but with all these clout chasing rappers & nerds out there representing hip-hop without understanding the essence and struggle embedded in this culture, I think it’s okay to call them out.

Not for the emcees and producers, they there... but for the DJ's, the Radio Host's, the KZbin personalities, the TV, to bring this sound back to the fore front once in a while again.. Not just the plastic and 808's with zero bars.. Sometimes is aight, we ain't stuck.. But atleast sprinkle this kinda stuff in.
