Do you know if West Systems is used in aviation? I mean I do use it on my Remote controlled airplanes. "Extremely light & Thin layers..." but don't know if is used on real planes!!

I have heard that epoxy and polyester/vinylester are incompatible. Will summer sunlight and heat adequately cure epoxy?

Epoxy will stick to Polyester like f$%k and never let go. The problem is using Poly gelcoat over the cured epoxy if that's what you mean?

when talkin about thickness i’m sure u mean 1.5-2mm not 15-20mm

A "mil" is a thousandth of an inch (0.001") and not the same as a millimeter. 15 to 20 mil = 0.38 to 0.51mm
