Westwater 2016 All Rapids

Apparently i'm not the only one who saw them lose the oar, but did anyone else not see the oar nearly come loose in the 2nd rapid or so (was that marble rapid?). The guy in front looked right at it, but they never secured it. And yes, it was pure chance they didn't flip in Skull. Same for magnetic wall when they came through sock it to me. Beginners luck I guess.

Skull hole is so fun. I hit it every time I go if the flows are between 5k & 10k. It seems like everyone wants to miss it, but it's a wild ride going through. I watch all of the videos of people taking the "correct" line, and I feel sorry that they miss that wave.

Oh man Skull is a beast. So many get flipped by that wave that knocked you all around. That rapid stole my glasses off my face in 98 (sounds like war story). Great video though of Westwater.
