Gotta' say it's super nice to get an opinion over a long period of time... 90% of the negative reviews complain about how it didn't work after 1 week or 1 month. Seems like 3 months is the requirement to get the results you want. So 1 year - awesome, thanks!

My house and garage is white vinyl. Trees around both cause green algae and mold. One application of Wet and Forget did the trick! After a couple of weeks all the grime was gone! Love this stuff!

I tried this product about 2 years ago. I used the tank application formula and used my garden sprayer to cover what I could of my tile roof. I checked month after month and saw no real difference and I chalked up the experience as just another product that didn't live up to the hype and I forgot about it.. Then after about 6 or 7 months (I'm in Southern California so we don't get much rain) I noticed the roof was looking much better. After another month or so the roof was completely clear of the green/black stains I had for years. I admit I was amazed. The part of the roof I was able to reach with the sprayer actually looks brand new. Now the only problem is there is a line across my roof where the sprayed part is completely clean and the top half is still covered with moss and mold. 😆 I bought this version with the built in sprayer and reached the top of the roof. Now the waiting game begins. Bottom line is if you aren't in a hurry...this product is great. And be prepared to wait 6 months or longer depending on your rainfall amounts and how stained your roof is. Eventually you'll see an amazing difference.

How often do you apply it ??
@deezee6732 Жыл бұрын
Hi MaD. I applied it once but was only able to reach the lower half of my roof. It took about 6+months, but it came completely clean. When I sprayed the upper part of the roof, the wait was only about 4 months until it was clean (it was a bit quicker because we had more rain that time.) The roof is holding up great , still completely clean and it's been 2+ years. I'll probably spray it again in another 2 years.

The product is the same but the one comes with a hose attached sprayer which can be installed to change the pattern. I add a shutoff lever valve on my hose end so I can leave the applicator turned on yet easily shut the water off or lower the pressure by closing the valve. The product works great over time but sometimes a second application in a few months will help really tough stains disappear quicker. The bottle without the sprayer needs to be mixed with water into a container. That can change the rate of product being applied. I recommend the one with the sprayer as it makes the job much easier.

What if you take the original formula and use it as a refill to the outdoor sprayer used in this video? You can buy a refill for this sprayer but it is much more expensive. You can get the original formula for $34/gallon then put it in the sprayer, but maybe there is a difference in strength?

Will it harm plants and shrubs?
@fixandplay826Ай бұрын
Wet & Forget, a popular outdoor cleaning product designed to remove mold, mildew, moss, and algae from surfaces, can potentially harm shrubs and plants if it comes into direct contact with them in large quantities. However, it is generally safe to use if you take precautions to protect your plants. Tips to Avoid Harm: 1. Dilution: Always follow the dilution instructions on the product label. 2. Avoid Direct Contact: When applying Wet & Forget, avoid spraying it directly onto shrubs, flowers, or other plants. Try to shield nearby plants or rinse them with water immediately if they are accidentally sprayed. 3. Watering Plants: Before applying Wet & Forget, it’s a good idea to thoroughly water any nearby plants. This helps reduce the risk of absorption if they are accidentally exposed. 4. Rinse Off: After applying Wet & Forget to surfaces near plants, use a garden hose to rinse off any overspray from plants to minimize the risk of damage. By being cautious and following these guidelines, you can minimize any potential harm to your shrubs and plants.
