has the wool been washed before you do this or is it straight from the sheep? ive just been given 6 black fleeces from the farmer neighbour and was wanting to do something with them - all advice appreciated

Dear Zina, The long wool you working with is a complete - we call it in Hungary fur coat? I mean the shearer cut the coat in one piece? After you just turned - sheared side up and put the layers on top of it?

It's valias blacknose x teeswater fleece sheared in one piece and wer felted on the sheared side with cheviot wool
