How to felt fleece, little known in Japan. If you want to know how to do it, you have to take an expensive training course. This video is very easy to understand, so I may be able to make a rug without taking a class! Very helpful. Thank you very much. From a sheep lover in Japan

has the wool been washed before you do this or is it straight from the sheep? ive just been given 6 black fleeces from the farmer neighbour and was wanting to do something with them - all advice appreciated

Dear Zina, The long wool you working with is a complete - we call it in Hungary fur coat? I mean the shearer cut the coat in one piece? After you just turned - sheared side up and put the layers on top of it?

It's valias blacknose x teeswater fleece sheared in one piece and wer felted on the sheared side with cheviot wool

Yes carded wool is better
