I am not a fan of comparing bands to other bands. They all have influences. No one is reinventing the wheel anymore. What I see is a live band with 3 electric guitars, 4 if you include bass. They write their own songs. They have fun, the audience has fun. Guitars and fun. More of this PLEASE.

hopefully this is a turning point for modern culture and simple, expressive and fun things will start mattering again. I think there are millions of people being fed the BS lines weve been dealing with over the past ten years. the rigid dogma of cancel culture, the one millionth super hero movie, the carbon copy scripts for TV shows that are written for 2nd graders. people are bored to death and sick of being insulted. Wet Leg is great and this song isnt an exception to the rule, in fact the entire album is beyond the stratosphere. We have been dulled to the bone with the repressive "freedom" of the decade. redefining definitions wont work anyone. This is a slap in the face and an eye opener to the reality that people are waking up. Thank God
@naturestone31482 жыл бұрын
I understand what you mean. There is no future in turbocapitalism and braindamaging TV-Shows, commercials that makes us buy and buy and buy stuff nobody really needs and we are just buying because we are bored of 08/15 - 9-5 life. TIME TO FUCKING WAKE UP! I am 50 - and more awake as most people in their twenties that are using cellphones they can`t even operate without help...but to look cool and pressured to put on makeup to look like some stupid instagram dumbass "designer" rolemodell (Kim Kardashian) - that is making money off and manipulating the younger generation that does not know better. WET LEG is a good start....and if the younger generation doesn`t get it - then the older generation has too break through the WALL of living a dead life in a alive body in a depressed and sickened society we actually HATE, but are forced to compete with everybody around us - instead of living and breathing together as one.
