Holy sh*t. This is great. I haven't been this excited / impressed and frankly smitten by a new band since... I don't even know when. A long time ago.

I so love the part the bass plays in this beautiful piece. Then the synth part sounds like a theramin. So dreamy. Then it just builds into a crescendo. Stunning.

Oh my, oh my. It is mind blowing how talented she is. The band is awesome for sure, but there is something monumental with her. Divine transcendence.

There is a live version where Rhian showcases her majestic angelic voice instead of the synth in the middle. It's so beautiful it brought tears the first time I heard it.

I'm old, I'm young. I burned my tongue. But isn't that obvious? It's all so obvious. We try to try. You're out of time. But isn't that obvious? It's all so obvious. We're doing this all wrong. We're burning out til I'm gone. But I don't mind, I just wanted to try. I cut through life with the back of the knife. You say that school was good at school. But now it's up to me. I'm floating endlessly. I'm holding this all wrong. Between my finger and my thumb. But I don't mind, I just wanted to try. I cut through life with the back of the knife. But I don't mind, I just wanted to try. I cut through life with the back of the knife

I'm turned seventy and seen The best bands and heard the best music , from the 50s to the present and yet just when I think nothing could get me up to dance again , wet leg come along and make me feel eighteen again. Just look at the audience's to see how much pleasure the band are giving. I think they will be huge .they make me smile and don't take themselves too seriously. This track is great and good enough to be a single .keep grooving gals, and guys!

Why does Rhian sound almost Dutch or Scandinavian when she sings? Not saying it's a bad thing, but it's an unusual singing voice for an English person. Or maybe it's a strange Isle of Wight thing.

Hey camera person, Wet Leg is a band, why do you keep your camera focused only on the singer, even during keyboard solos when she has nothing to add to the music? Not a single shot of the sexy lead guitarist and drummer neither. And the bassman is only visible in the video coz he was positioned right behind the singer. That's some very bad directorial choices. Such a tight band and you threw it all away. :(
@joshrussell79692 жыл бұрын
It was clear pretty quickly that this song is Rhian's moment in the spotlight (notice how it starts, panned out). Sorry I didn't pan out again when the full band came in, had no idea what was coming next in the song and was trying to watch them rather than my phone. Next time you pay to see them live, you can capture it just as you like 😉
@orcaflotta78672 жыл бұрын
@@joshrussell7969 Did you read thru the comment section? Some obviously stupid persons seem to think Wet Leg is a solo act. We can thank your brainless camera handling for that. :( And why would I ever see them live? Heard about them today for the first time ever and find them pretty mediocre.
