Marilyn Monroe's signature lip colour was actually bright orange not red.

Yes, and she wore a combination of “reds” even brown to get the depth of color on her lips. Did you know she wore red dot on the inner corner of her eyes to make the whites pop??? I find that just fascinating.

That blush looks so perfect. I've been searching for a glowy shade just like that. I'd go with the peachy pink highlight though. I'm very fair so silver highlights never look good on my cheeks. But it looks stunning on you regardless. That powder is cool too. Wasn't there supposed to be a glitter lip balm topper also i this collection? I do feel kinda disappointed that they didn't at least repackage the mascara to look pretty as well. Anyway, how did that black liquid eyeliner hold up? Was it easy to remove later on with soap and water? And what actually was tge difference in the two sides? 🤔 Thank you for reviewing it all so nicely. I'm definitely getting that blush. It reminds me of a discontinued MAC blush from the early '00s.

The PR box didn't include every product in the collection, I don't think. So I think there were at least a couple other things in the collection. The eyeliner held up great! It reminded me a lot of their breakup proof liner, in how it wore and then how it was to remove (I always use a cleansing balm to remove my eye makeup). One side is a bit shorter than the other. So one side gives a bit more of a bold look, where as the other side has a thinner end so you can get a more precise cat eye line.

I just love Marilyn. I wish they hadn’t charged $10 for every product when they’re normally $3-$4.50. They look like nice products but I just can’t go along with that markup.
