😂 Good to see keeping the adult humour alive and your sanity real … sneaking “the mayo glory shot” and “pull em off” into another great video peeps. But swilling around the slippery mud to find the number plate in ya jocks was hilarious … well done.

Funny. Watching the lead up at the very beginning I said to my wife, The rego plate just flew off. "Wind it back, I missed it".i said "Nah, you'll probably see them floundering around later looking for it." Great episode team. What an amazing area. Thanks. 😊

Awesome vid along with the last with f2f. Family first always, so great to see the kids on adventures. My best memories as a kid were doing this stuff....but, How about a crazy idea. Remember the cheese cloth type fly screen table plate protector. How about a fold down and out spread from the troopy door.... for food prep over the bench. Bit like a sandblasting booth. Look forward to the next vid. Cheers.

Wow, epic episode. Love that 76 of yours, its a seriously nice vehicle. Looks like an amazing track to explore. We've just finished a Simpson Desert crossing, and it brought it all back. The remoteness, not seeing another soul, the simplicity of living out of the back of the car. A real adventure. Can't wait for part 2.

So it seems I did the Hollande Track back in 1996. We were on our first big trip from Sydney to WA. I had seen this feint line on the map and couldn’t help but be drawn to it. We asked about it at the Tourist Info Centre in Coolgardie and I think they knew less about it than me and I knew nothing. I was with my wife and three kids in a GQ Patrol that had been built by ARB. It had lots of extra buttons. It was also our first trip towing our brand new soft floor camper. Our first night on the Holland was also our first proper free camp. Your video shows the Holland exactly as I remember it. Beautiful country and a fun track.

Thanks, Duncan. Sounds like an awesome trip!

It’s great to see you guys have an adventurous side and enjoy getting out on some decent tracks. Playing with your rig is obviously an important part of learning it’s and your capabilities. Question for you though - how exactly would you have tried to get your rig and more importantly family out of the water hole if it had gotten stuck without a winch? Do you have a hand winch in the back? Or just rely on the max trax and luck? I suspect it could be days or longer between vehicles transversing the track. Having fun is great, but! Cheers
@TheLifestylePioneersАй бұрын
Thanks, Jeff. We loved it, and like you say, getting used to the vehicle and it's capabilities. No hand winch on board. It would be shovel, tred boards, logs, tyre pressures, whatever it took! We would've loved to tackle more of them though!

Just get the plain plunger style 👍 they have come down in price heaps in 15 odd years, it’s worth adding a stainless steel filter as it lasts forever.

😂👍 Cheers, guys. I wouldn't reccomend towing on the Holland, you're better off leaving it somewhere.

If ya want a big jump up in comfort in a swag put blow up mattress in 7/8th pumped up and it’s bliss soft and cosy ya have plenty of height in yours so not much loss difference. Great way of showing the new to 4x4ing about deep bog holes without being in a wet one and being recovered lol 😂 OH and now you know why they put 4 screws in a numberplate ? For water holes hahaha 🤪 at least ya found yours again ! Really enjoyable episode , was a bit worried about what was holding up ya hat in the thumbnail hahahaha

Not only for 4WDs. In the last 3 (or 4 years?) 3 Citroen 2CVs from Perth traversed that track (unsupported). They are, afterall, originally French farmer's cars designed for shocking postwar country roads and ploughed fields.

Just wondering whether you guys pick the length of your ads? I’ve noticed since KZbin updated and removed the ad timer that a lot of videos have ads that are 2-3 minutes long through the whole video. Just wondering whether they’re doing it on purpose so they don’t have to pay because they know people won’t sit through long ads.
@TheLifestylePioneersАй бұрын
Yeah, we don't control the ads. It's all KZbin! We donate 10% of the ad revenue to charity, though.

So what's the logic of not putting a winch on your ultimate touring build ? would of thought it would of be on your rig given everything else you have fitted.
@TheLifestylePioneersАй бұрын
Yeah, that's a fair assumption. We were concerned about weight more than anything, cost to a lesser degree. There's only been 2 times in the last year where it would've been handy. With that said, we're seriously considering it now.
@FXO_AUАй бұрын
@@TheLifestylePioneers agree with your logic, guess it comes down to how much you are going to push the limits and move away from just a touring vehicle setup. Maybe a portable bilge pump for those large water holes would be more appropriate HAHA😂😂😂
