Be careful with the prawns most are pond grown in Thailand but coles and Woolies also carry wild prawns from the North west of WA

So the cooked prawns go better than the "fresh" ones??? Never tried them so I can't comment......I use Ozzy fresh banana prawns...(from woolies) and they seem to go ok, all though perhaps a little large?
@saltysessions12922 жыл бұрын
It's funny mate, the cooled prawns go heaps better than fresh, it's weird, it may be because the stay on the hook longer maybe? Also using banana prawns is not as effective as vanimi prawns I have found 🤣

Yo bro the woolies prawns are great way to introduce disease to Australia waters. A lot of places say Aus. But packed in Aus. Farmed in Thailand. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you Your show is great and so should be bio security.

Hey mate, I have done a bit of research and also contacted fisheries about this because it seems alot of people have mixed opinions and it's because of the white spot disease outbreak in Queensland, the info I got back from fisheries is that using cooked prawns is fine as cooking the prawns kills the virus, also was told from Woolworths the prawns I used are not imported they are prawns from western Australia, 👍 but I totally get ya and will find a better way to catch threadies with out them 🤟

Cross-contamination. Just diseases that can come from import prawns and 90% of Coles and Woolworths prawns are imports.
