I watched this entire show as it aired, and these guys got the biggest ovation of the night. Everyone else was coming out and doing Elvis songs and putting twists and turns on them. These guys came out and did a faithful rendition of the song and absolutely nailed it.

Marti Pellow of today has the biggest smile ever. Sometimes he looks as if he is so happy to be alive and where he is, as if he can't believe it, but he's in on the big joke. You can see the awful drugs in his eyes in this performance, but now he's as clear as a bell. Marti and the boys from Clydebank have come a long way from a bleak, unpromising future, to still the best sound around. Even as a very senior lady, I still love the boys of Wet,Wet Wet.

Marti Pellow was and still is so handsome. My lover shared his life between Canada and the USA and my Angel lived in Australia too. I'm dying of pain when I listen to Marti in many of his songs that I listen to again. My heart adored Elvis and he looked exactly like Marti. I often told him. Buuuuu! Hard hard! Love life wisely because you are not sure if it will do it for you. She is beautiful but so hard. This video is, you see, immense happiness and extreme pain.
