Cole, trust me when I say I’m trying to help, not criticize. Roll the plastic pipe out hand over hand walking backwards instead of letting coils fall off the roll. This eliminates the kinking worries and the pipe will lay flat in the bottom of the ditch. My wife and I love watching your channel after we get our cows fed and chores done. Thanks!

Oh Cole, you Brian and it sounds like at least one of your brothers' senses of humor is right up my alley! Hope that's not a bad thing? Don't listen to anyone's grief over how to dig a trench for some poly tubing for sure! Looking forward to the upcoming projects before the times get too busy to complete them. And the busy times after also, there can't be a better or more enjoyable KZbin channel about farming then Sonne Farms!

Brian I'm glad y'all had a good time in Nashville. I'm just 30 minutes north close to the Kentucky line. Back in the late 70s I hauled cattle for Johnny Cash he had reg black Angus cows. and Cole you did a good job on the water project 👍
@bellasamantha2372 жыл бұрын
Cole what you needed to do is....exactly what you did. 👍 As viewer's we aren't there to see every detail of the job n whilst in general laying water pipes is the same-same, there's always going to be individual differences to each job, so I'm more than sure you know what you're doing to get the job done. And I didn't hear Mr Brian criticising, so you got this! 😅 I've heard it's better to have a kinky hose, than a hose with a kink in it. 😂 I think the video where you used the digger attachment was for a culvert you n Mr Brian dug. It was one of the first videos I saw n watched with my little nephew. He asked me "If that kid can have a big digger why can't I?" I tried to explain that you weren't a kid + it was farm work, but no amount of explanation could appease him cos he ended the conversation with "Well if big people can play with diggers then why can't I?". 🤣 Mr Brian we have a huge issue here with disrespectful fudge nuggets dumping rubbish on the back roads of our regional town. They dump broken fridges, old couches, cupboards, tables, chairs n anything else they don't want to pay tip or collection fees. Not cool! 👎 Happy 1st Anniversary Storla Station! 😁🙏💙🦘

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Congratulations to Storla Station for one year of operations and doing good. Glad Brian and some others saw the good in keeping it going. Good show. Mowing ditches. Sure do remember that. Except we had a old bar mower. Like the one you use Brian. Always a good job done for the year. I missed the song of the day. Could have been me?? Cole you did a good job on finding the old water line and putting a new one down. You had a mess to deal with. I thought your fix was sufficiently good considering it is in a tank and herd area and not a main line. You looked at the situation and decided what was best. Good approach. Leaving it open a few days is good also until you know it is fixed. Considering the situation there, good job Cole. Not the most fun job around the farm. Next is concrete pads. Another fun job. You and dad have at it. About it for now I guess. You take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Thank you for sharing your "dirty jobs" with us. I did sprinkler systems in the summer time for a number of years. I did not like fixing leaks caused by someone else. One cable company cut through a waterline and they used shrink tubing to patch it. Imagine that. Of course it only lasted for a few seconds. I got to fix it. The cable was quite visible and let's say that some ideas crossed through my mind but I did not yield to temptation. So thank you for bringing back some memories. 😮

Good Job Cole, I like to watch you make improvements to the acres. I was wondering if you will be laying down some gravel/mix in the floody well water area? It might keep things from getting too squishy in the wet seasons. I love STORLA STATION, I have never been there but I like the lady who works in there and how much it helps the other farmers and ranchers in the area.
