Yes, ink splatters and gathers around so make sure to wipe around it to keep it clean.

hello. just purchased my prestige printer. i have all my ink loaded and all tubes seems to be ok but the 2whites connects to a tee. the tube after that (white tube) is empty ..is that normal? thanks

You will need to turn printer all so ink circulates through.
