@acidfriend47 The reason its harder to get it when its longer is because the note gets incredibly low and your lips may need to develop more control before you can hit those notes. When it's shorter the Drop Octave that you are hitting is closer to playing an average low drone on a big 10 foot didge so its actually a good way to simply discover the drop octave. The mouthpiece shape isn't absolutely necessary but it helps a great deal with comfort and ease of achieving these other drones.

@WETdidgeridoo In regards to it taking a lot of air, you just will need to practice and build control just like when you first learned to play didge. I will go really in depth with this in the instructional videos that we are planning for September.

@WETdidgeridoo Thanks a lot for that. I was thinking If i have it longer it wont be possible to get the drop octave. So i pretty much guess i have to be vibrate my lips like a horse to try and get that drop octave going on. Well I really tried looking for wax in many stores but never found it.

Where do you normally obtain the wax you use from?

Hey I have a question? My PVC Didj is a round mouth piece. I have it long what i mean by that is I have 3 pieces joined in that. I tried doing the drone sound and i couldn't get anything. once I removed all 3 pieces I got it smaller, some how I was able to get drop octave? why doesn't it work when I have all 3 pieces joined? Is it mandatory to get the mouth piece shaped? By the way as i was doing the Drop octave I realized I was releasing a lot of air and I couldn't circular breath do you know y

Is it easier to do if you've played other instruments, like Tuba perhaps? :P
