Outside of Bakugo, Izuku, Shoto, and Tokoyami, 1A's selection of quirks require tons of training or gear to be viable. Uraraka needs her outfit to stop from puking, Jiro is weak af without support gear, Yuga literally can't do anything without his belt. You could beat Hagakure with a sack of flour, Mineta's quirk isn't as strong as Bondo's, Sato and Shoji would get flatlined by Shishida. Manga can destroy entire buildings just by saying "Boom". Ojiro got whooped by a guy who can spin real good, and Shiozaki could whoop most of class 1A alone.

What if Deku had a crystal quirk Quirk: Crystallize, It gives Deku the ability to produce a crystal substance as hard as diamond and tough as steel. He can make projectiles, huge structures, or weapons. An added bonus is his skin's ability to mimic the substance by becoming nearly as hard as it and being malleable to form various shapes and weapons if he keeps his concentration. This substance is heavily unstable and will hold for only 15 min until it begins to lose its solid form and turn to vapor. This can be counter acted if he keeps contact with it to restore its stability or make it instantly vanish. Once he let's go the countdown begins. The draw back is over use, which will cause the user to slowly be crystallized unless they take a break. (Imagine frost slowly forming on Shoto when he overuses his ice) This will slow him down and leave him unable to move without extreme strain placed on his body. While his body will be harder than what he normally can achieve and he's nigh impenetrable, his nerves are hyperactive in this state and the slightest touch feels like his skin is being peeled off. The substance gets harder with age and with training. This strength increase coincides with the time limit becoming longer. Origin: Midoriya's childhood was mostly normal, until he developed an odd skin condition at 2years of age. All it did was produce green patches on his skin but it caused no harm. Doctors identified this as part of his quirk manifestation and that they'd form a proper opinion on it when the quirk fully manifests. 2 years go by and Deku, with his friend Bakugo who just got his quirk, were playing with a ball. Bakugo often teased Deku for his green skin but he didn't mind as he couldn't wait for his new quirk. Bakugo kicked the ball at Deku as he shouts "Think Fast!" As the ball slams into Deku's face and sends him into the ground, Bakugo went to check on him as he looked more puzzled than hurt, questioning if he imagined the ball. Bakugo asked why his friend's forehead wad so hard. At last his quirk manifested and with it his new nickname, Diamond Head. Deku thinks it's dumb and Bakugo always calls him this to annoy him. Apparently his quirk was a result of an odd mutation in his DNA. This mutation. also brought about his odd skin. Deku and Bakugo grew up like brothers, each having a burning passion to surpass the other and be no.1 hero. Although his explosions don't hurt Deku when he is hard nor do they damage his constructs, his tenacity and reaction speed allows him to compete, but Deku is still ahead because he learned how to be quick thinking and versatile with his quirk.

What If suggestion, “What If Deku was the Great-Great Grandson of Hikage Shinomori” Quirk name, Hazard Perception: It allows the user to detect any threats in the nearby area, and when they do their body grows a slight tolerance to that threat and they get a slight boost in their physical abilities. Downsides: Takes a huge toll on the users body as it feels like a sharp pain sensation, if the threat is something the body can’t be immune to like Shigaraki’s quirk the body will not grow a tolerance to it. What If suggestion “What If Eraserhead was Deku’s dad”. Izuku’s quirk, Cancel: If he makes physical contact with someone their quirks stop for 15 minutes. The time increases the longer he touches someone, so like if he touched someone for a second it would just be 15 minutes but if he touched someone for 3 minutes it would be like 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes. If he touches something else and that thing touches someone and he activates his quirk he can also still erase that persons quirk. Downsides: While he can erase multiple people’s quirks at once, if the time is up he has to wait 5 mins before he can erase that persons quirk again or longer depending on how long he erased that person quirk. It also makes his skin seriously dry.

Downsides: If they only know the basics about that person or their quirks they can’t perfectly copy them. If they don’t transform into that person and instead just use that persons quirk the downsides of that person’s quirk are doubled. They also have a time limit of how long they can use the quirk or transform into the person based on their knowledge of that person. What if suggestion, “What if Deku had an Amphibian Quirk.” Quirk Name, Salamander: It allows the user to do anything a Salamander can do (think tsu’s basic abilities) and some other abilities such as producing toxic fluids from their body, they can also camouflage, and loose limbs to escape enemies (the most being a hand and a foot) and can also regenerate lost limbs (most being a hand or a foot), he also has gills allowing him to breath underwater. Downsides: If an area is too cold he will get very drowsy and eventually go into a hibernation state, and if he uses to much of his toxins he can start to hurt himself a little with the toxins.

Downsides: While the user can use this ability on multiple people the user has to wait 4-7 minutes before being able to use their quirk on that person again and the more people they affect the more they have to focus making them more dizzy and lightheaded.

What If Suggestion “What If Deku had a Lava quirk” Quirk name, Lava: It allows the user to turn either produce a lava like substance in small burst or turn their body into a substance that is very similar to lava, if they come in contact with something that the lava overpowers that substance will be added to the lava like, rocks, metal, etc. Downsides if the user touches water they do get hurt and turn to stone forcing them to go back into their regular form and they can be contained by lava proof materiel. What if Suggestions: What if Deku was able to bend Earth Quirk Name: Ground Shift Quirk Type: Emitter The user can move natural stone, dirt, sand, gems, and ores from the ground. They can also make semi complicated structures with the ground they move. Examples: weapons, tools, and human looking clones. Downsides: When you attempt to move the ground, you take from the floor beneath yourself to shift it into a different position. When that happens, you could possibly crumble the floor beneath you resulting in a crater that you could possibly fall in. The further that you reach into the ground to move, the more you use up your power. Overuse of this quirk will result in numbness of your arms, legs, and partially your torso. You will also get a pounding headache. Extreme overuse will result in extreme malnutrition and most likely a black out. Because of this, you need a more healthy diet. I would like to say that this could lead to intense training to become stronger. Wow this is wonderfully written and the VA is so silky smooth, I just lose every bit of it. It's about time we get some 1-B action. Honestly the only real nitpick I could come up with is that, in canon, Monoma isn't able to use 4 quirks for 10 minutes until after the Training Arc in the woods. Originally it's 3 for 5 minutes. Either way, though, I'm loving this What If and can't wait to see more.

@@uncreativity1013 oh, I guess I missed that. Than I have no idea how superior quirks lost to invisibility, sticky balls, and bellybutton lasers that make you feel sick with quick blast. Maybe they were motivated to study more, or UA just have some questionable choices.

Glad you skipped the introduction of the anime. Most other what if's don't, and get really stale as they just follow the anime beat-by-beat. I'm honestly excited to see the personalities of each 1-B student.

I found A really GOOD AND COOL fanfictions about class1b deku its called through trial and error rn it has 16 chapters and uts better and better basically eraser didn't want someone like deku to be his student so vlad king decided like ok youl have monoma and mineta and ill have that brocolli deku is op in here like he basically has 5 percent full cowling already lol tho he achieves it in a creative way so Spoilers All migt basicalyy buys an abandoned facility and get some sledgehammers since this is a private propriety they can use quirks freely all might uses a sledgehammer to break a wall deku tries this and has worse results but after insoecting all mights movements he sees him using all his body to swing the hamner he tries thus with ofa 3 percent which took a lot focus and yeah full cowling

The original one made the right decision to keep Kendo and replace one of the back round 1b students with izuku. Kendo, Testu, and Monema are the only 1b kids who gets good screen time so they have to be in 1b
