@Wethepeople BMX Don't want to put you on the spot, but I recently purchased the Battleship complete. I also have a Sunday Soundwave complete. I know Sunday has the lifetime warranty. It's been documented that 5, 10 or whatever years go by and you break, crack or bend the cranks, forks, bars or frame, they will out right replace it under the warranty. I noticed yours is a lifetime guarantee instead and the website doesn't go into much detail. So I just want some clarity on this. I'm in the U.S.A. Thank you for your attention.

I recently bought a battleship 2021 from wtp, its insane quality and I love the raw glossy colour and the tyres colours, I removed the brakes and it looks even better imo, I removed them temporarily because I am new to bmx and might need them for safety reasons. Overall its the best bmx bike imo, 1 small thing to do to it is to cut from the bar ends like 1 or 1.5 inches from 29 inch width to go to 28 or 27.5 because I feel like they have a bigger width for the 20.75 inch top tube that it comes with, I wish it came with a 21 inch top tube and it would be perfect, but 20.75 is good too, as I am 1.80-1.82m in height. I also bought 2 more eclat venom 4.8' pegs to have the 4 pegs in total, but it might add a little to the weight but still amazing nonetheless. Overall 9/10.

@Nozy hey im 5'9 and a half i ride a 21 TT fits me very well, but im interested in gettin the battleship & i notice it is a 20.75" TT. would it fit someone like me standing at 5'9 and a half.?

@@klassickingz9094 I am exactly your height. i have a Sunday complete with a 21' tt and love it. I use it mainly for bowls and flowy riding. My wife just got me a complete WTP with that 20.75' tt. That will be more for technical riding. Love them both and yes. It will be comfortable for you. Just the Battleship will probably be a bit easier for me to throw around with the shorter tt and chain stay. Also has a very responsive front end with the head tube angle and 15 mil fork. @@LittleBigKid707b hey vic appreciate the feed back brother im just trying to understand geometry and how it works but since im going deeper into bmx the knowledge really do matter's. over the weekend i had the chance to sit on a 20.75 TT and a 20.5 TT they both fit me well but the 20.5 felt a little more snappier than the 20.75 im having a hard time deciding lol And the battleship is so 🔥🔥🔥 insanely gorgeous.

@@LittleBigKid707b The Helix freecoaster hub never wore in properly but I replaced it with a BSD Revolution and am very satisfied with the bike 4 months after my purchase. If you're under 6' 2", this bike is perfect for street and can be ridden in a park just as well IMO. Life-time warranty on frame and fork, too! Extra-wide Eclat rims, oversized stem and handlebar that has never moved once on me. 12.7 slammed rear end. 'nuff said!

@@kirkwickham3336 I'm happy you're enjoying it!! I got back into it last October and went with a Sunday Soundwave. Birthday gift from the wife. I too am LOVING my bike. Best one I've had my whole life. I might eventually pick up the Battleship. Either this year or the 2022 version. Besides one being street specific, which of the 2 would you say has slightly better components? The Envy or Battleship? I think the bars, forks and cranks are all different right?

Yes, I've wondered about the weight too. Love my Battleship and it's quality no doubt, but if you add 2 more pegs, you're looking at around 30 lbs!! That's a lot for a high end bike like this. My Sunday Soundwave is 4 lbs lighter. Maybe it's heavy by design because of the focus on street?

@@LittleBigKid707b I've ran two battleship frames over the last few years, they're a bit hefty but they take a BEATING. mine's done drops, been thrown a thousand times, probably still going out there somewhere. the weight is worth the quality, imo

@@mk6pinnock Just curious. You seem to know your stuff. Would you say the Soundwave complete can take just as much abuse? It's a bit over 23 lbs. Or would you guess that the Battleship is stronger? I was thinking that the "heftyness" of the Battleship is what makes it strong. But the WTP Envy is also another super light bike. Is it not as strong as the Battleship?

@@LittleBigKid707b the soundwaves are known to be really strong. Any aftermarket-spec frame from a reputable company should take a beating, so I wouldn't be worried at all about longevity on it. Go shred it, enjoy it! Edit - is yours the cassette or the coaster version?

@@mk6pinnock FC. I got back into it a year ago after 30 years and when I bought my 2021 version, only option was a FC. tried it and LOVED it!! I won't go back to cassette again. I do a lot of fakie tricks and they feel so good on a coaster. Almost went with the Envy a few months ago but the cassette was a deal breaker. Plus I like the look of the Battleship more. Love that shiny, glossy raw, the 4 piece bars, tire colors and the overall geo

I paid AU$1500 from 99 Bikes at Springwood, QLD, Australia, in November 2020. They discounted AU$500 off the AU$2000 price tag as they were having trouble selling it and it had been on the showroom floor all year. I couldn't say "no", lol.
