Next time you can try CitiAir bus 1961. Takes you directly to Ximending from airport, saves you the trouble to get a taxi ride. You can also try it on your return trip if you'll be leaving from Ximending.

@WeTheTZN Unfortunately it's not 24hrs. 2AM is too late to catch the last bus which is 0030AM. But if you don't mind waiting for a couple hours, the earliest bus to Xiemending would be 0555AM according to timetable on CitiAir website.
