I'll try to explain as much as I can. Fans love the group (all members), and they usually have a bias, sometimes several or even all of them. Fans hate seeing any member dating a girl, why? For two reasons: 1. These girls are people outside the group/don't belong to the group; 2. Fans, being deeply in love with them, fantasize about a romantic relationship with them (that's why you often see fans saying in a fancall, "Can you be my boyfriend for 10 minutes?"). Fans also accept ships between group members because they love each member and, besides, it's "hot" to see two handsome guys they like being affectionate with each other, right? Even if there is a serious relationship between the members, they won't reveal it to feed other ships, for example, “A is with B,” but someone else might say, “No, A is with C.” Companies don’t mind these ships because they’re still considered fan service, which even generates profit/makes their products sell even more. I believe that some ships are real; it happens across all groups. Think about it: from the age of 14 to 30, being forbidden from dating girls-I mean... they’re human too and have needs. Often, they feel lonely, either because they miss their family, face career difficulties, or develop physical attraction between themselves (it’s a long time when you think about it!). Another thing that baffles me is when someone naïvely says they’re like a family-no way! They call each other "brothers," they’re friends, they’re close-knit like a family-I can accept that. But an actual "family"? No, because you don’t flirt with/"sleep" with your brother (if you know what I mean). I hope this gives some insight into why fans accept ships within the group but not with outsiders.

I also think that in Kpop in general you are not aloud to date so shipping amongst fellow members , means that they are in love . We all know Love is what makes the world go round. These people that ship these 2 men arent old enough to understand that they would not be living separately it just wouldn't happen, they post jealous edits of them with each other but yeah they both are living with other members. You do not have to live with someone to be in a relationship with them. Let’s get that straight. Not saying they are but you don’t have to live with someone to be considered in a relationship. That’s a very old school way of thinking. By that account that means the people they are living with are their partners and that’s simply not true. They’ve never lived in the same dorm so they could have easily made the decision of roommate based on who they lived with before and knowing how they would be as a roommate. I think the most important lesson here is for everyone to just mind their business. Doesn’t matter the nature of their relationship. Just support them either way.

Dave is a big supporter of ships, even though they are definitely harmful. If I love two people from a group, why not individually? El barco o ship de Felix y Hyunjin se llama Hyunlix porque es la combinación de los 2 nombres. Este es uno de los ship más populares y más numeroso en cuanto a seguidores. Tienen una química especial en su trato y por eso muchos dicen que son pareja pero ellos nunca dijeron nada por obvias razones. Es una cultura homofóbica. Jamás sabremos la verdad. Si este ship se convirtió en real o no. Igualmente como leí en otro comentario esta comunidad confunde porque por un lado defiende un ship y todo lo que eso representa y por otro lado se escandalizan por el último live que hicieron Hyunjin y Felix.
