WeWork launches largest space in Asia Pacific on rising demand for hybrid work

Demand for co-working spaces in Singapore is going strong despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Analysts say that more people in the country want to return to workplaces compared to the global average. This comes as WeWork launched its 14th location at 21 Collyer Quay, its largest in the Asia Pacific with 21 floors. Its 13 other local properties are about 90 per cent occupied.

People prefer more money for their work not lavish workplace. Ceo would fry whoever do that increasing operational cost while productivity return stays the same. More and more companies going to outsourcing would end up hiring wfh. If worse comes company would just hire foreign talent and put most workers out of job automating everything no need so many workforce and offices expensive much.

The attractiveness of such set up is the cost of using the space as and when required.. Pay as you use the space and duration needed. Hence dead money when it's not used. Great Flexibility.

The original idea of co-working space innovation was for the startups and those young entrepreneurs, I have no idea why those oligarchs in a such conservative time now need these spaces, because they have their own buildings or cubicles already.
