This song is so special, I think it's the one that stuck with me the longest after the album was released. Almost a year ago I took a walk in a small forest to meditate and connect myself with the music. When this song came on shuffle I just stopped. I sat down on the woods, the sun was setting and my mind just absorbed completely the song. I didn't want to get up and walk back home, it was one of the most beautiful and truly reflective golden hours I've experienced. The last 2 minutes of the song are magical. Thank you Weyes Blood

this song reminds me of a poem by cesare pavese that goes like this: “And then we cowards who loved the whispering evening, the houses, the paths by the river, the dirty red lights of those places, the sweet soundless sorrow- we reached our hands out toward the living chain in silence, but our heart startled us with blood, and no more sweetness then, no more losing ourselves on the path by the river- no longer slaves, we knew we were alone and alive.”

What’s your favorite Lyric Sang? [Verse 1] Look around There's nothing left to keep By the bottles that broke you From the solace you seek Didn't know you were one in a million Stuck inside the wall I'm wondering how we ever got here With no fear, we'd fall [Chorus] Taking hold of our eyes Beauty, a machine that's broken Running on a million people trying Don't cry, it's a wild time to be alive [Verse 2] Turn around it's time for you to slowly Let these changes make you more holy and true Otherwise, it just made it complicated for nothing Warm and cold, a place for us too far [Chorus] Living in the rising sun Our life, a feeling that's moving Running on a million people burning Don't cry, it's a wild time to be alive [Bridge] It already happened Nothing you want to change more Heaven found that life went down Everyone's broken now and no one knows just how We could have all gotten so far from truth [Chorus] Love, pain, loving you Everyone knows you just did what you had to Burning much more than ever before Burning down the door It's a wild time to be alive

her voice is silk and her music is art, i love this music video so much, especially the part near the end where it speeds up, and the entire music video is played over and over again on loop. it seems so reflective of the fast paced nature of life, and human life. i love that it shows the balance between death and decay in the form of glorified neon mud, and then also rebirth and baptism in the river, and the nude human form of naked women wandering through the trees rooted within land of untouched earth. in the last minute of the clip you see all the elements of life flash before your eyes

This song carries alot of meaning for me, even before the quarantine, it's true we are living in some bizarre times, with the politics and environmental issues, but on a personal level it weighs alot specially the lyric: "Love, Pain and loving you, everyone knows you just did what you had to" That pretty much nails it there for me, so much chaos out there, even though we are all couped up :)

I'm so glad I was able to see one of her concerts just before going into quarantine. It was definitely a high point of what has been otherwise a very shitty year.

Gracias a su último album me volví un seguidor de su música y escuché toda su discografía, y me encontré con obras de arte muy infravaloradas. Artistas como ella valen la pena.

Love it, Queen!!! ❤️ You've carried me through my parents getting cancer, my life turning in so many untellable directions, and now the incredible circumstances of the world at large. I trust your art to tell the hard truths. Can't wait to see you in concert when this is all over. ❤️

I remember this showing up on my recommended summer of last year and I was completely enamoured, I mean this album is right up my alley, I went and listened to the entire album after finishing this music video. This album genuinely helped me so much during the pandemic and being inside during summertime.

Just when I thought that there was no possible way that this song could hold any more potency, we receive this gift. Natalie is breaking more ground as time passes, this really is feeling more and more like the revolution as each second passes, and Natalie is a leader. One of the most ambitious and beautiful visual compliments that could've been created for an already heady song
