Why didnt he use a cable grab and eliminate the double clip climb. Baffeling to me. Work harder not smarter. Unless the cable itself was tagged out of commission

It's painted so it's no longer 3/8ths, the cable grab will bind up.

@@UkrainianBazooka So what if it is painted. Ours were painted too @ different towers depending on how lazy the sprayers were when doing it up. The guy getting out of the elevator not hooking off first was by far the dumbest thing you can do. Climbing using the hooks is not free climbing. That's when you climb without stopping or using hooks.

@@MichaelJohnson- Yeah he definitely wasn't free climbing this is what we call "hand over handing" it, making sure you are always clipped off. Free climbing you don't clip off to anything and you just climb. I do this for a living. The views are simply amazing!
