RIP Officer. I receive harassment and scapegoating as a Black woman in Seattle, every time one of these criminals harm an officer. They beat my Mom to an inch of her life 30 years ago. I don't know how they translate targeting Black women with violence as The Reason of choosing to risk their life as a trade. My grandfather was a retired Police Sargeant, so it makes NO sense.
