WFSB Commercial Breaks (March 29, 1986)

Taken from CBS' March Madness coverage of Duke vs. Kansas, on WFSB (channel 3) in Hartford, CT. The Blue Devils, in Coach K's sixth season, beat Kansas 71-67 and lost to Louisville in the final.
WFSB was also the first TV station to use Television by Design, introducing the cutting-edge graphics for its newscasts in early 1983. Then-owner Post-Newsweek became TVBD's first client, as all their stations used their graphics during the 80s; TVBD also got its start with CNN and TBS at the same time.

BTW, WJXT 4 in Jacksonville (my hometown) which was formerly affiliated with CBS had also used those TVBd graphics back in the 80s which were also called Eyewitness News!!

Kansas & Duke would meet in the National Championship game 5 years later (1991). Duke beat Kansas, 72-65.
