There's something so pure about his voice in this song. I think it's my favorite of all M&S songs. It's great to harmonize to as well.

+Iris Addison Their song "Only Love" has the same effect in my opinion.

+Liam Davidson I agree completely. I was lucky to be at the Houston show this past Sunday, and they did Cold Arms standing around a single mic. It gave me chills.

Yeah. I mean geez, they travel the world and sell out STADIUMS and entire ARENAS for their shows. They are criminally underrated. *eyeroll* They have barely been recognized for their work at all!! SO underrated.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Mumford_%26_Sons

I wish their new album had more of this earthy and raw underproduced vibe that grips your heart and soul... the kind of lyrics and melody that move you but you don't even know why. They kind of lost their sound in Wilder Mind, they wandered too far away from home.
@dannygoodlet88406 жыл бұрын
Chama C I agree, but the new album isn't bad at all. Feels thin, compared to the heavy first two albums that had some songs that took multiple times listening to appreciate and I like that a lot. I want more acoustic guitar and banjo in the next album, and even though I appreciate a different voice from the band in terms of lyrics, I want Marcus to write all the songs next album.

You know a band is good when they sound better in a stripped down recording like this than on the album. Things like autotune and various mixing softwares will improve the way amateurs sound on an album but it justs gets in the way when you're recording professionals.

+Deanna Brooke their songs mean very different things to different people. Incredible music like this is art and is therefore open to interpretation. This song hits home for me in a different way that it may hit home for you, and thats okay.
