It sounds silly, but being able to rotate those damn Grand Strategist zones makes me so happy. It was needlessly frustrating to squeeze a couple of your squad members into whatever weird shape the game decided you had to deal with.

I know right! I stopped using them because they were not good enough to be worth the hassle. Honestly GS win initiative is just broken on it's own. Throw that on an officer(Read, Cass) and you can do pretty much whatever is required to win most encounters. Next playthrough I might go for a less broken team-comp just because of that.

Before Baldurs Gate 3 had me in a chokehold, Wrath of the Righteous and Pillars of Eternity 2 were my obsessions. Finally got Rogue Trader during the most recent steam sale, I think I picked the perfect time, loving it so far!!

When I think back to the release of Kingmaker, it's really impressive how far Owlcat has come with their product support. Certainly did not expect this development.

The day rogue trader becomes fully voice acted , has some more cutscenes etc it may just surpass BG3 for me (tbh it may already be better)

Really glad to see upgraded weapons in Acts i & II. I had just started a new playthrough a few nights ago; looks like it's time for my Death World, Crime Lord, Soldier/Bounty Hunter that I've wanted to try. Nice reveiw, as always.

I have not yet finished a full playthrough. I've made it most of the way through ACT3 prior to the DLC launching. I started a new playthrough a few days ago after 1.3 dropped. So far I've noticed a ton of changes that have been great. The prologue was better fleshed out with the extra cut-scenes and dialog. The death cult early on in the 1st act was a great surprise. The game just feels more complete and refined since the DLC and 1.3. Have you considered doing an updated ranking of party members with the all the changes and new member?

Well, the nano second the alpha came out I bought the most expensive edition. I played all the way through the alpha. I checked out for a while to wait for the game to mature. I finally started a game a few days ago and just got to Footfall... Now I'm going to check out again until all the DLC drop. I'll get to the later chapters some day.

Thank you for the breakdown ❤ I’m in the middle of my first play through and the biggest QOL improvement that came out of this patch for me is being able to rotate those strategist zones 😂 I’ve grown dependent on them for Pascal and Yrliet. Also… I freakin love this game. It is so well written and engaging. The best game I’ve played this year.

I was just thinking it might be time to give this another run. I played all the way through at release, and while I had a very good time overall, by around act 3 some rougher edges had really begun to show. not to mention, without really even intending to, my characters got so absurdly OP that the rest of the game was pretty much going through the motions, very little was an actual threat, or ever forced me to change up tactics meaningfully. which can be pretty fun for a few hours, but gets very old after several dozen.
