Great Video. I have several MSS tools that reduce time. Please continue to offer more of these how to videos especially after new product issues.

Setting up the assemblies for flat surfaces is easy. The hard part starts when you want to set it up on the stairs.... It's not impossible though! Great video, keeep them up!

Excellent! I also used it for complex Sun Shades as well. So many uses.

I always avoided assemblies on previous versions of PB as I could never get it working as I required. This new auto assembly looks superb. I’ve already upgraded so will give it a try soon.

auto-assembly is really a genius tool, many thanks for inventing it! One thing I don't like is depending on file's origin - it's very cumbersome in many situations. please let auto-assembly be created based on current axes. Also let the face (for a new profile) be selected from ANY plane, not just original XY plane. Thanks!

Great feedback thanks! The auto assemble feature works best on an empty model. After creating the assembly, save it and load it into your working model. And any face can be made into a profile regardless of what plane it is on. Only polyline profiles (profiles created from only edges) must be created on the XY plane. Hope this helps!

@@mind.sight.studios Another thing: please implement array formula. I mean in, for example, Profile member tab- Up\Down Offset combo-box (or discreet one) a user writes 6X10 and the plugin would create 6 profile instances with gap of 10cm (I bet you could invent better syntax for this, I just try to "sell" you a general idea)

@@mind.sight.studios Also why PB4 can't pick up the face (used for profile creation) material by default? Any why not allow a profile based on multiple unconnected faces painted with different materials? Those "little" things would tremendously boot productivity!

How about the parametric gridline (Compost of geometry, text, number , dimensions and filter) using profile builder

thanks for the lesson. But how would you do it if building a glass rail? I struggle to get the glass front to be pieced up on not one solid piece.

I suggest inspecting the settings for this assembly: 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/75848144-43b5-4811-9b9c-af0705f3b57b/Simple-Glass-Railing
