Spider-Man 2099 isn’t just an upgraded spidey but one from the future. Miguel O’Hara has different abilities from the Peter Parker we know, for one he is the only Spider-Man (that I know of) that has organic webbings and he has actual claws on his fingertips that allow him to fight and climb walls
