Loved your response! We are much more than our body, our skin color, our looks! We are human beings created in the Image of God! Being in an interracial marriage for 12 years, all I can say is that I am a blessed wife, blessed mother to a 5-year old boy, and it has nothing to do with our ethnicity. We both love the Lord and are committed to love each other!

We are apparently still asking this question beacuse there are still some people out there who feel like interracial relationships are wrong, even some in the Christian world. It's one thing if you have a preference to marry in the race, but when it comes to what others do, I think our concern should be less is this person going marry or date someone of the same race and more is this person going to marry or date someone who is a rightoues man or woman of God and are they a good pick for this person. This is especially true for us as Christians because we are all created in the image and likeness of God.

I am from the “older” generation so I still have that mindset it’s not right. HOWEVER, three points always stay central in my mind; 1. One God created ALL mankind. 2. What individuals do is between them & God. He is the Judge of all. 3. Dr. J. Vernon McGee preached once on Solomon & his life. Solomon married a Shunimite woman that according to Dr. McGee was black. He said (I’m paraphrasing) that God made every provision to relate to all members of mankind & that included the earthly bloodline of the Savior. He didn’t want anyone of any race or background to feel excluded. In that, Jesus is our all in all! And as the guest speaker said, it’s what’s in the soul not in the skin. AMEN!!

Racism is not justified from a non-christian perspective. An atheist would not argue against interracial marriage because all humans are compatible on a physical level. This video is trying to imply that interracial marriage would be wrong from a physicalist perspective, but it's not.

I think you're wrong. Racism is nothing from atheistic point of view .... Good or bad. Because there will not be a basis for wrong and right. It will only make senses on a biological level that racism is preference for ones look-alike And we see that across the animal kingdom for example.... In fact, biologically, racism makes more sense But, since biology doesn't teach morals, we have no basis to say it's wrong or right. It's simply preference. Such inconsistency is why I can't be an atheist.... They claim there's no trancedent being, yet they say racism is wrong... How?? Is it encoded in the genes? Or is it a transcendent value that we all submit to? So, interracial marriage is quite odd biologically, I mean, ecologically, to be more specific.

@@emmanuel8310 Biology invalidates racism. The racist idea is that all types of humans are not a part of the same species. "Cain took his wife from among the apes", for example, was a popular explanation for minority races. Biology proves that all humans are not only the same species but the same sub-species, the closest relationship we can have. The fact that different races can have children who are fertile refutes racism. The races are not really different. Different colours of goats are not different sub species, same with humans.

@@douglasmwonzora6269 I think you have a problem here. Biology says it's the same species... But, have you heard of "Population variation" in biology, specifically, Ecology?? I'm not here talking about Taxonomy. I'm talking about preferences of organisms in the same species.... It doesn't need any explanation to know that I wasn't talking of interspecies relationship. That's not natural, and is usually human intervention. I'm talking of variation between species, and choices and preferences within that species.

@@emmanuel8310 Fam, racial preference is socially constructed. It is a recent phenomenon that people "stick to their race" . People have always been interracial even before the modern era. Home sapiens crossroads with Neanderthals all the time. They were actually different sub species. It does not make sense to prefer your own race because their is only one race left, home sapiens. The conversation would be valid if there were human sub species still in existence

You dated a black girl once. One black girl, out of millions. And decide to discriminate against an entire race based on one experience? People claim they are not racist, they just have preference. If a person says "I'm not racist, prejudice and I don't discriminate, but I think white people are the most attractive, I think their hair is the best." Etc, That is racist and discrimination. That is thinking one race is superior, that is a sin. And if God leads you to another black woman, will you reject her based on you're limited experience?

@@brokengirl8619 So you're gonna put words in my mouth? I never said anything racist in my comment. I tried the interracial route once and it just wasn't for me. I'm not against anyone who chooses an interracial relationship/marriage, it's just not my preference. I prefer to be with my own race. That's not racist nor sinful. Don't attack me just because I'm a white man who would rather be with his own race. There are black people in the world who prefer their own race. Are they racist and sinful? I saw an interview of a black girl being asked would she marry outside her race and she said no because she wanted keep her African heritage bloodline going and preserve her own race. There's nothing wrong with that. It's her preference. Muhammad Ali said the exact same thing. So don't you come attack me because I'm a white man who has preferences.
