Title Whale Watching in Akureyri, Iceland
A whale watching trip into the Eyjafjörður Fjord in Akureyri in the north of Iceland. We head out in search of humpback whales in the fjord which apparently has the highest success rates for sightings in Iceland. The trip itself took 3 hours with excellent guides & spectacular views out to the mountains in the background. As you can see, I was incredibly lucky & had the same whale come & play 8 times in all! If you go you may even be lucky enough to spot a Blue Whale too.

Whales are nice and all that… but when I visit Iceland it will be all about the PUFFINS! 💕

Puffins are on my list now too. I seemed to just missed them numerous times over the last few years. Next time they will be my goal!

@@SueWhereWhyWhat 😂🤣my husband can empathise! We even have a video called “the puffin curse“ because he has missed out on seeing them four times, in three different countries!🙄
