Mine's doing something similar. The water seems to prime every time we turn on a tap, but haven't checked to see if it's leaking when disconnecting the pump outside the van. I had a quick look at the water set up and concluded i needed to fit a non-return valve. I didn't even know that the fitting you disassembled had a check valve. I'll deffo give your fix a try, and report back....!! Thanks fir the video, very thorough 👍

Here I am in a field about to get dark I undid the screws and it all fell out on the grass The diagram was not good enough to put it back together Found your video fixed it in minutes Thanks so much for taking the time to put the video together and posting it Regards Duncan

Should the diaphragm be full of water or air? When I press mine, water squirts out of the tiny outlet…

The cover/flap on mine has snapped off along the hinged part (the plastic looks perished, 13 years old). Am I right in thinking, I can remove the remaining piece of the old flap, and insert the new flap, by loosening the four outer/corner cross head screws and easing the complete housing away from the wall of the caravan? It certainly looks like that's what I am going to have to do.

Yes, the cover on ours can be removed that way, if yours is the same fitting it should work

Hi, quick question if I may. The diaphragm in the service kit is white and the existing diaphragm in my unit is black rubber. Should the white one replace the existing black part or should both be fitted? Thanks, Dave.

It’s a while since I did this job but from memory I just used the new parts from the service kit. I think once you get it stripped down you can just swap the parts like for like
