Whales is a pretty big artist. Seen lots of places, made a lot of good stuff, even changed his name so that it wasn't sometimes considered inappropriate anymore. Great to see Whales join Monstercat now and release such a track here with an official debut, after his Remix of Anyway back in 2018. Big welcome, Whales!

What an incredible original debut for Whales and Dutch Melrose! This is a wonderfully vibey but punchy future bass track that feels pristine and carefully crafted in every corner, and it's matched beautifully with a stunning topline by Melrose, someone who I've defo got to check out now! It's different from what I've known Whales for in the past having mostly heard their tunes on Disciple, but I'm addicted already. It's a pleasure to see Whales return after their incredible remix of FWLR's Anyway, and I'm excited to see what comes next from these 2!
