You're so good, this is an example that elo hell is real, unfortunately a lot of players who do actually suck think it's elo hell and don't actually get better causing players who deserve higher ranks like you to be stuck at where you are.

@@tymen9989 Having to play constantly and eventually being able to rank up is elo hell, my friend is like bronze 5 and he isn’t a bad Mercy main he just doesn’t understand that Mercy isn’t a great pick majority of the time, but this guy is clearly in elo hell, good mechanical skill gets you at least to plat, and if he’s been in GM before he shouldn’t have to play a shit ton he should basically get to Diamond easily, it’s the sad truth at elo hell does exist in some cases, and Overwatch DOES put you in lobby’s with players who are having a bad time to challenge you, the game just sucks at giving you teammates you could carry and ends up giving you ones that aren’t even able to understand basic team comps, i’ve been stuck at Gold 5 DPS for a short time now and it’s mostly because almost every game i get Moira Mercy, and yes they healbot i got like 3k+ healing as Soldier and my Duo got 3k+ healing as Reaper, so no it isn’t my poor positioning or anything it’s genuinely bad supports healbotting majority of the time.

A common issue at low ranks is that for every time you're popping heads and getting insane plays, there's those moments where you underperform and only tend to focus on when you did good (getting those crits on the cassidy and zarya) and forget about your misplays (frontlining in midtown as widow) while in gold no one would punish you for that play, in higher ranks that's an easy punishment for not playing your long range strengths as widow

ya honestly man i just play the game at this point, i get so tired and irritated when i play my life nowadays in this elo because I HAVE played like that REALLY often in gold/plat but I have to make these crazy plays toi initiate on widow or we lose (even when im duoing with top 500 support players on smurfs) because people are out of position/die first or my entire team dies early leaving me to either try to 1v5 if im playing reserved. that's my 2 cents

I mean, ranked nowadays doesnt mean anything, and it seems you are having a lot of fun in these games, in gm you will have to deal with winstons/genjis/tracers/lucios/ brigs if you play widow and trust me, it will not be as fun as these games, from what it seems to me its just a bless that you can have fun with your character and not having to counterpick the enemy team, i really do think that you should enjoy your time as gold because might be even less sweaty than quickplay

I by no means can say, but a possibility might be your priority on who you kill first and other similar minor details (such as how to handle dive whcih you probably do well). I haven't seen your gameplay too much and this is not my main game so yeah elo hell might be real (in this game). You can test it by making new account and playing. It could be that so many hours of being in same rank affects this somehow(?)

I made a new account that got banned during the ranking process because I won a 4v5 hard comming and the game before that I swapped to widow on a very small king of the hill map (busan) to win after practicing some echo. This was like mid diamond so yeah I think my account is harder to rank up.

@@Gleevac I think that a hardstuck account can get boosted by playing in a group(in valorant atleast). (Which is not bad in your case since you deserve higher anyway) Blizzard does not show us how far we are from rank up which makes it more difficult.

I have no idea lol. That’s why I put my loss in the video on Nepal after killing them over and over again. I have such a major impact on the games. I’ve duo’d with two top 500 supports and we still go negative in plat with this play style. And yeah I do swap and am good with other heroes. I’ve been told plat is like you need to make massive plays every fight to rank up consistently based off the heroes I play.
