I definitely struggled ignoring sellers too on my last trip so I know how you feel. I think we're not used to being hollered at in Western world so we try to be respectful in our response but in Gh, it really doesn't matter. ♥️

Hello Jasmine! Another great video. I personally love the market even when it's really busy, but the new areas they've created makes shopping a little easier. And I am like you, it's very hard not to respond to everyone who wants you to come to their shop. I think I do, because I feel like I'm being disrespectful if I don't at least acknowledge them. My boyfriend is like Aisha...he' says we'll never get done if you respond to everyone..LOL. And once again you made my favorite dish! Egg stew is the absolute best. I've only had it with rice and yam, so I'll have to try it this way with the garri. Keep the videos coming please...I can't wait for the next one!

I love seeing these shop and cook videos. You made me hungry again on this same egg stew! I've yet to make it but I know I will. Would anybody like to comment please about a question I have. Food stuff at the market is a given. Are there other parts of the market that sell electronics, computer parts, kitchen gadgets, supplies etc (used and or new)? I'm guessing music and DVDs for sure.

Your behavior of responding to the sellers who call on you to buy is exclusive of people who lived in the west. I do that too. We tend to be more responsive and somehow try to be more attentive/respectful than those who have never lived outside Ghana.....,my opinion.

Also I don’t know if you can do this kind of video or not but I am curious to see what plants you can plant maybe around your house that will keep away bugs and snakes what options there are and if there are options for that then what are good ideas For planting things around your house so you can use them either for medicinal purposes or for eating.
