To all you guys that want to get into trophy hunting there is something you should know about it. It's ADDICTIVE, at times very frustrating but also very completing and satisfying. You might find yourself checking games by their trophy lists to see if you can get Platinum with relative ease. You might reject some great games because trophies are too hard, or time consuming. Dont do that. Always keep in mind its a hobby. Its meant to be fun. You are a trophy hunter, do not let trophies haunt you. I hope beginners will keep this in mind. Enjoy yourselfs!

Yeah, man. I’m currently working from Z down to A so I can scroll upwards at the end and see the entire alphabet in Platinum Trophies 😂. There are some games that I like to play and just have accepted they are too time consuming/hard for me to get Platinum, like Crash Bandicoot 4 and Injustice 2, but I still want to get at least a Rank A on psnprofiles for those games 😂. Addictive for sure

I might get into platinum trophies, I just can't be bothered to put so much extra time into all game. I got one platinum trophy in 2023. It was elden ring. Which was relatively easy. Anyways you're doing good work, I'm currently watching your the last of us part 2 playthrough. I actually quite enjoyed that game but I understand why others wouldn't.

Nice video. You’re one of the first trophy KZbinrs I’ve found that goes for the 100%s. I’m the same way and played a lot of the same games in 2023. I started trophy hunting in 2021 and hadn’t played many PlayStation games before that besides a few series (final fantasy, kingdom hearts), so it was like discovering a brand new world of gaming. My hardest 100%s in 2023 were Crash 4, Slay the Spire, Yakuza Kiwami, and Kingdom Hearts III. I recommend them all! Keep up the good work

Congrats on a great year! I have yet to try the second DLC list for Sifu. First DLC list was a challenge and from what I've read, the second is harder. Might be the game that stops me from getting back to 100% (Currently sitting 98%+ completion with around 140 games)

Nice work on platinums . I loved stray but still have yet to do the speedrun of it . God of war , horizon and sifu are on my list for this year . I only got my ps in April but i love to 100% games so has been fun trophy hunting. I managed 66 plats and 76 completed games however alot were shorter indie games this year i want to play harder longer games and see how that goes. If you havent done Ghost of Tsushima id highly recommend it . Great visuals , story and fights .

Strays speed run is fairly easy actually I got it done in about 1:30, you can use a guide like I did and keep pausing your game (doesn’t add to the time). I did the speed run first lol and then chapter select.

Just got back into trophy hunting after getting a ps5 mid December. Got my first platinum and 100% on Horizon: Forbidden west+DLC and Just achieved my second Platinum today on Destroy all humans 2: Reprobed.

I got my first platinum in 2017 and I’m at 31 now but last year was the first year I actually went into games with the intention of getting the platinum so I got 15 platinums last year. Trophy hunting can be addictive but I don’t want it to be the only reason I play games which is why I don’t have more platinums yet. I love playing multiplayer games with my friends and I have over 1k hours in rocket league which I rarely play by myself and I don’t want trophy hunting to take too much of my time

I got a PS5 the same time you did and it's my first Playstation system ever. It was pretty cool for me to see your journey because I have a similar one in terms of the games and even the order in which we choose to platinum first. Since I got the system in late 2022, I have 31 platinum with a near 100% completion rate (only thing not complete is powerwash sim because they have a broken trophy that should get patched soon). I would 100% recommend the platinum for Final Fantasy 7 Remake part 1 (80hr with DLC), Returnal (26hr with DLC), Sea of Stars (47hr) and the Messenger (15hr), and Control (23hr with 2 DLC). I got 43 platinum trophies in 2023, but honestly many of them were doubles (both ps4 and ps5 versions of the same game) and easy and indie games included in ps plus premium (I just barely resisted playing that Pepa pig game, ffs...). This year I dropped back down to essential and plan to play better and longer games like I used to. Anywho, I hit 200+ plats in 2023, and I got my first plat in 2018. Every plat used to mean something, but since I got PS now and later PS plus premium, I started playing easy random trash instead of AAA games that I actually enjoy the most. Just continue what you're doing, dude. Never start platting those $1 crap games or ps plus extra trash, it just makes your account look cheap and kills the fun of getting plats, it's just a PSNP number race.

I also agree those types of games make your account look cheap. At the end of the day gaming is meant to be fun and trophy hunting is a fun little extension of that. Any tips for avoiding getting caught by Zurks trophy in Stray? I'm pulling my hair out. I am speed trophy was so much easier than the Zurk one. great video! little side note: i think that you are really underastimate the difficulty of the games you play like how can you say that a game that took you 60 hours is only 3/10 difficulty but a game that can be done in 3 hours is 2/10... like I understand that it is not about the playtime but there is no way you putting games like the last of us II 4/10 lol it is just a little wierd... good video tho!!

Thanks! Yeah I was basing it more on the actual difficulty of the trophies and not really the playtime, but I get what you mean. And I understand it's different for some people, but I just went with the difficulty that I felt playing it. I'm sure there's some games out there I'd find hard but you would find them a lot easier and vice versa.

Mainly difficulty and time for me. If it’s simple/medium and around 15-40 hours I usually go for the plat but hesitate if the game is really difficult or if it’s like 80+ hours. Seen most other people choose their plays based on difficulty too.

Guess the trophies on Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be the easiest, cause you can import your old Part 2 Savegames and it will also transfer the trophies ;)

From what I've seen that Fortnite grind is very loooonggg so props to you for giving it a go. Maybe have a break here and there to try out some other games so it doesn't get stale

Dude god of war is still hard on easy those valkery are hard on easy when no enemies are supposed to be on easy i could platinum both games but i cant beat the valkery bosses on easy so no its not easy even on easy
