"Sometimes just being honest and understated garners more respect and interest [...]" - John O'Nolan (founder of Ghost). Many people on the internet garner your attention with clickbait telling you that you can achieve lofty goals in 3 months or less. It's possible yet unlikely. I argue, and research shows, that if we can learn to stick it out... we're better off in the long run.

I appreciate you being kinda vulnerable and honest about the rough parts. I'm working in IT and trying to get over to Software Engineering and this is some major inspo for me, and helps pop the bubble a lot of crap on youtube perpetuats.

Hey man. I’m also a musician song writer producer audio engineer. I’ve been in the music space for the past 15 years I’ve been living in the Bay Area and LA/SD just back and forth from one failure to the next. Got signed to a pub deal a few years ago and it didn’t work out so.. I’m still doing music and writing a lot I love being creative and expressive in that way. But also studied code in 2022 for about 6 months and go absolutely nowhere I was just on the verge of understanding the concept of an object and really hadn’t spent enough time in any mark up language to successfully design anything remotely user friendly. I’m in a spot rn where I have the time to commit to learning code and the mindset stuff is really where it’s at and what’s given me the breakthrough that I’ve been seeking. Anyways I say that all to point out that we may have some things in common and I’d like to see if you’d be interesting in linking up via zoom and allowing me to sort of pick your brain and maybe get some guidance from you? I don’t want to use the word mentor cause I don’t know if your in that sort of position but I can also see myself doing mindset stuff like you do as well. If anything man I appreciate your story and it’s been encouraging watching your stuff. Let me know if we can chat. Thanks so much.

Hey love the advice here. One thing I wished I could do is find a good company to get my foot in the door. It doesn't even have to be in software development. it could be help-desk during the time I'm learning to code this way I could transition from help-desk to front end and so on. also I'll always have access a mentor that actually works for the company doing software engineering, but still be able to feed my family lol.

The universe is part of creation. It has no consciousness. God created the universe. And He loves you. Jesus Christ died for the sin of the world. Turn to him for forgiveness and eternal life. And thanks for your videos. They're great
