I was worrying about that exact thing when I picked Hwo up. Make sure to not care too much about being nice cause I played a rushdown character and used him like a turtle. I just stayed back and focused on whiff punishing. Like it or not Hwo’s offense is his identity. You have to utilize it to have the full package. Have fun with the character!

Yesterday I discovered in practice mode Crouch dash 3 is very plus on block +4 or +6 don't remember exactly. Easily lead into left flamingo mixups on block. It has great range and the animation looks like it evades highs too (could be wrong), I am wondering why you don't throw it out in the neutral.

4+. It's very linear, for starters. The LF 1 jab is avoided by just slightly stepping to the right.

Hwoarang's fastest move in lfs is i13, meaning +4 is basically +1 with jabs being the only frame trap and most other options will be stepped or interrupted

Its a long range move, plenty of long range moves are very linear. After the +4 frames, left flamingo 3 trades with 10f jab for favorable damage and frames +5. Left flamingo 3 is mid, so prevents ducking, it has f4 extension (non armored, semi homing backlash) that catch side steppers, also catches side walk right, can only be side walked left, or ducked to make it whiff. It is very safe on block. Its a high followed by a mid, so opponent is unlikely to duck. Left flamingo 3 also has a mid 3 extension that also prevents ducking. Left flamingo also has b3,4 catches duckers, side steppers, only 2 frames to interrupt with jab. Second high hit can't be ducked if the first mid hit is blocked. +0 also gives chip damage.

@ sure, left flamingo jab can be side stepped, but you can mix up the opponent with left flamingo b4,3, will catch duckers, side steppers, side walkers. First hit (mid) jails on block, so, second hit (high) can't be ducked on block or hit of the first. +0 string, and chip damage on block, good damage on hit. Both hits have good tracking. Interrupt window is only 2 frames, threat of 1 will keep them from mashing. If they guess right, most damage you will eat is 11f counter-hit string or trade with a 12f startup move. Left flamingo 4 will trade with jab, you eat 8 damage, they eat 28 (counter-hit), on top of 8 chip damage from cd3. If blocked, still +4 frames, and now you get to do right flamingo mixups. You also get a free throw attempt from flamingo with +4 frames.

I love how everyone hates King! Ive been King main since Tekken 1 and because of counter throw edition Ive never been happier 😂 People literally rage quit when I hit a link throw and they cant break it! I must admit Victor is kinda silly but I just step most of his stuff! Hwoarang is so great in K Wiss is hands! Great Video!
