I had an 03 prox 440 race sled back in high-school. Thing was an absolute blast. Beat to hell from shit tracks in North MI. Finicky but fun. Nostalgic as fuck. Look forward to this build 👍

Used to ride with two of these (both ridding buddies bought same sled) that were purchased from Pro5 out of Minnesota. They were 800 swapped with trail tanks and were rowdy! Both were in Fairbanks both went to interior villages and I think are still around and running.

That was an amazing deal! I could have a bought one brand new as a left over here in Valdez back in the summer of ‘04. We had a small Polaris dealer in town and he had one on the showroom floor. But, at the time I didn’t want another 440 and it was my understanding that the motor was a roach and not very dependable. I don’t know what happened to that sled? I hope you don’t part this one out like that one moron did on another KZbin channel. It’s not like these are super common. Nice work finding this sled!
